Gila monster lizards hatched in Stockholm zoo
Gila monsters, the world's most venomous species of lizard with a bite that could kill a human, have hatched at the zoo Skansen in Stockholm, newspaper Dagens Nyheter reports.
The lizard is native to the southwestern United States and can get up to 60 centimeters long. It's a heavy and slow-moving lizard that represents very little threat to humans in the wild.
The eggs that hatched were laid four months ago.
