Arsonists again damage star chef's restaurant

Arsonists again struck a downtown Stockholm restaurant early Sunday, hurling a Molotov cocktail-like object at the business and smashing its windows.

News agency TT reports the Grill restaurant was hit about 3 a.m. by two suspects, who were scared off when a witness approached them. The fire was quickly put out and caused little damage.

"They got scared, got in the car and disappear from the scene," Stockholm police officer Johan Renberg said of the perpetrators while speaking with Swedish Radio.

The same restaurant, owned by star chef Melker Andersson, burnt down completely in an arson attack in 2007. Two years ago, another of his restaurants on the central Stockholm island of Kungsholmen also went up in flames during a suspected arson case.
