Published onsdag 5 november 2014 kl 20.44

A building in Västerås was cordoned off Wednesday afternoon after an object suspected to be dangerous was found while people were cleaning up after a fire in the cellar, reports news agency TT. All residents were evacuated, while the police bomb squad came to inspect the object. They decided to detonate it, and just before 8pm, the residents were allowed to return home. It is still unclear exactly what the object was, but according to the police's website, it will now be examined.
