Swedish economy posts stronger growth in Q3

Sweden's economy expanded in the third quarter, official statistics showed on Friday, growing more than what was expected by many analysts.

Statistics Sweden said the GDP grew 0.3 percent from the second quarter. Last month, analysts predicted a rise of 0.2 percent.

What is likely driving the growth is domestic consumption, Handelsbanken's chief economist Jan Häggström told news agency TT.
