One to hospital in refugee center fire
A person was taking to the hospital on Sunday for treatment of smoke-related injuries in connection with a fire at refugee reception center in Hällevik, outside of Sölvesborg in Blekinge.
News agency TT reports that the alarm came in just before 2:30 pm, and that work to put out the fire began immediately afterwards.
What started the fire is still unclear. The center, which can house around 200 people, was opened this past summer and is run by the entrepreneur and former populist politician, Bert Karlsson.
