30 million kronor raised by hunger strike fundraiser

It was a record-breaking year for Swedish public service's fundraiser, with over SEK 30 million raised to fight HIV.

The annual "Musikhjälpen" or (music aid) takes place in a different city each time, with three presenters locked in a glass studio in a public area, and not allowed to eat for the week of broadcasting on radio and TV.

The number of people who got involved with this year's event also broke records, on 235, 000.
