World championship bronze for Sweden's Lindell-Vikarby

Jessica Lindell-Vikarby took Sweden's second medal at the Alpine World Ski Championships in Vail, Colorado on Thursday.

Lindell-Vikarby finished third in the Ladies' Giant Slalom. Skiers from Austria and Germany took the gold and silver, respectively.

Swedish Radio News reported that it was the 31-year-old Lindell-Vikarby's first medal in an international championship event.
