SR Recruits Advertising Agency

For the first time Swedish Radio will be working together with an advertising agency in order to market the company’s profile.

Swedish Radio has not yet commented how much the company will be spending on the PR campaign, but according to the media magazine Resumé, the company could be spending some US $6 million to help promote SR to the public.

The decision is not with out controversy though, coming at a time when SR has a goal of saving some US $35 million by 2010, as well as reducing its staff by some 400.
