Comfortable win for Zlatan's PSG against Malmö

Swedish soccer team Malmö FF lost the Champions League opener against Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Paris Saint Germain 2-0 Tuesday evening.

PSG, playing on home soil, took the lead after only four minutes through Ángel Di María. Twenty minutes later, it looked like Malmö would equalise when Markus Rosenberg scored, but the goal was disallowed after the forward had fouled one of PSG's defenders in the process.

Despite that much of the build-up centered around that Zlatan Ibrahimovic was facing his boyhood club, the 33-year-old forward did not score. He was however involved in the last goal of the game when he acrobatically deflected a cross from Maxwell into Cavani's path who then headed in the team's second score of the night.

Malmö never really got back into the game after the disallowed goal in the first half, and PSG's second goal in the 61st minute secured a comfortable win for the Parisian team.

Malmö will play Real Madrid on home soil on September 30th.
