Retailer stops buying equestrian products from India

A Swedish retailer has stopped ordering equestrian products from a factory in India after Swedish Radio's investigative programme Kaliber revealed poor working conditions there earlier this week.

So far, the retailer Biltema, has only stopped ordering leather products from the factory in the town of Kanpur and it's still not clear whether they will keep selling other products manufactured in the same facility such as saddle pads or horse blankets made out of textiles.

The retailer made the decision after paying a visit to the manufacturer, according to Swedish Radio News.
