SAS flights to US east coast cancelled because of snow storm

Scandinavian Airlines cancelled flights from Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Oslo to the American east coast Saturday, because of the heavy snow there.

Worst hit by the storm, dubbed Snowzilla by the American press, is the Washington DC-Baltimore area, where up to 6 decimeters of snow is forecast.

SAS cancelled five flights from Stockholm and Oslo to New York and from Copenhagen to New York and Washington. Passengers have been rebooked to later departures.
