Swedish stocks fall on global growth concerns

The Stockholm stock market fell sharply Monday on global growth fears, as European shares hit the lowest close in more than 15 months.

Stockholm's OMXS index lost 4.3 percent, while Copenhagen took the hardest hit in the Nordic region with a 5.4 percent fall, the biggest drop in the index's history.

In Stockholm, the shares of all big companies ended the day in the red. The worst figures were for Swedish lock manufacturer Assa Abloy, which fell by 9.8 percent.
