Three Norwegians nabbed the three top spots in the 90 km Vasaloppet ski race on Sunday. Sweden's Brittia Johansson Norgren was the second woman to cross the finish line, two seconds behind Katerina Smutna from Austria.

Britta Johansson Norgren led most of the race on the women's side but Katerina Smutna caught up to her just a few kilometres before the finish line and eventually won the race by two seconds. Sweden's Lina Korsgren came in third, seven seconds behind Smutna.

It was an even tighter finish on the men's side, where John Kristian Dahl crossed the finish line in 4 hours and 8 minutes, only seconds ahead of his fellow countrymen Stian Hoelgaard and Anders Mölmen Höst who came in second and third place.

Sweden's Markus Ottosson finished 6th, two seconds behind Dahl. Over 25 skiers finished less than 10 seconds behind the winner.
