Two young Swedes have been signed to play in the National Football League (NFL) in the US.

David Hedelin, from Helsingborg, was picked up by the Dallas Cowboys and Sebastian Johansson, from Karlstad, will be playing for the San Diego Chargers.

Hedelin and Johansson thought they missed the chance to play at American football's highest level when neither of them were among the 250 players drafted last week. Both later received phone calls from NFL teams to sign as free agents.

David Hedelin talks to Radio Sweden about the big transition from playing football in Sweden to the United States and what he is most looking forward to in the NFL.

Later this summer, the Dallas Cowboys have a training camp where David will compete to earn a spot on the field.
