Henrik Stenson took home the top prize at this weekend’s Wyndham Championship in North Carolina, making him the most successful Swedish golfer ever on the US PGA Tour.

The Gothenburg native closed 6-under 64 for a one-stroke victory over American golfer Ollie Schniederjans on Sunday.

His first place finish gives Stenson six wins on the US PGA Tour, beating out Jesper Parnevik and Carl Pettersson each with five wins, to make him the winningest Swedish player of all time.

“Feels good to inch ahead and get that sixth win,” Stenson said following the award ceremony.

Stenson took home SEK 8.5 million in prize money for the Wyndham Championship win.
