Nordea to move headquarters to Finland

Nordea Bank has decided to move its headquarters from Sweden to Finland, according to a press release issued late Wednesday afternoon.

According to news agency TT, half a year has elapsed since the bank's CEO Casper von Koskull first expressed the idea of moving the headquarters to another country.

The reason behind the decision has to do with the Swedish government's plans to hike fees for banks, writes TT.
