6:26 min

On January 1, Sweden is getting a new agency: Jämställdhetsmyndigheten, which means the Gender Equality Agency, and the director general was appointed today.

Sweden tends to have a good reputation internationally when it comes to gender equality, but the head of the new agency, Lena Ag talks to Radio Sweden about what work lies ahead to improve things, especially in light of the #metoo campaign against sexual harassment and assault.

The new agency will be situated in Gothenburg.
