Speaking to Swedish Radio's Erika Mårtensson shortly after Wolff's Death was announced, film director and friend Colin Nutley described Wolff as a "Swedish icon".
"Rikard was a Swedish icon and always will be. He was fantastic to work with," Nutley said.
"There was nothing bad you could say about Rikard ... a guy full of love and warmth. He was a wonderful friend," Nutley added.
Wolff acted in a large number of theatre productions, although is perhaps best known for his role in the film "Änglagård" directed by Nutley.
