Higher benefits for the poorest families

Published torsdag 30 november 2017 kl 11.53

The poorest families in Sweden will get extra money in their benefits, the government announced on Thursday.

Minister for Children Åsa Regnér says they want to make sure the poorest children don't miss out.

The raise will apply to those getting the most basic form of support, which goes to people who do not qualify for other kinds of unemployment or health insurance.
