Criticism against double standard for working moms

5:13 min

Sweden consistently ranks in the top five of the WEF international gender equality study, but when Therese Albrechtson became a mother, she discovered a double standard as a mom who wanted to go back to work soon after giving birth.

She interviewed a couple dozen other women about their experiences.

Albrechtson told Radio Sweden about what kind of pressure she felt, where it came from, how it impacted her, and what might prevent it in the future.
