Police responding to Stockholm attack lacked protective gear

The police officers first on the scene after the terrorist attack in Stockholm did not have sufficient protective equipment or heavier weapons, according to the police authority's own evaluation.

"We ran there and saw the flames," says police officer Erika Andersson who was one of the first on the scene. She did not wear a bullet proof helmet.

But the overall conclusion is that the operation after the attack went very well.
