Radio Sweden spoke with Sven Granath, a civil analyst who works with the police in Stockholm, about gang-related crime - especially in the country's major cities - after two deadly shooting took place in Stockholm and Malmö at the beginning of the week.
The metropolitan areas of Stockholm and Malmö almost make up a third of the nation's population.
"There has been an escalating spiral of violence during the last 10 and also the last 3 years, especially in Stockholm," he says. "However, not so much elsewhere."
