All the parties in the Riksdag are in favour of considering a ban on unregistered mobile phone numbers, reports Swedish Radio P3 News.

The suspected Drottninggatan terrorist who goes on trial Tuesday was found to have used 53 different numbers, saying in an interrogation that he had used free sim cards being handed out on the street by phone operators.

The nation's two largest parties, the Social Democrats and Moderate Party, are both proposing legislation that would ban the untraceable sim cards.
