"Unrealistic" that Löfven could stop Trump's tariffs pledge

1:59 min

US President Donald Trump dug in his heels on Tuesday over imposing tariffs on foreign steel and aluminum, but not everyone thinks Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven's meeting with him should be viewed as a failure.

Frida Wallnor is an editorial writer for the business newspaper Dagens Industri. She said Löfven did well during the visit and may have helped Sweden position in future trade negotiations between the US and the EU.

Radio Sweden spoke with Wallnor about Löfven trip, how it may be viewed by the Swedish business community and what relations between the two countries are like under the Trump administration.
