Minister laments harder tone at EU migration meeting

Interior ministers from 28 European countries are meeting for talks today in the Austrian city of Innsbruck, for the first time since Austria took over the presidency of the EU.

The meeting will focus on finding a common migration plan, and Austria is expected to push to make it so that it is no longer possible to make asylum requests on European soil.

Sweden's Minister for Migration, Helen Fritzon, spoke to Sveriges Radio's reporter ahead of the meeting. She lamented the harsh tone being pushed by her colleagues.
