Reported drug crimes on the rise

The number of reported drug crimes are increasing in several parts of the country, reports Swedish Radio News.

In western Sweden there were over 6,000 drug crimes reported between April and July this year, which is up by over 700 reported crimes, or just 10 per cent, compared to the same period last year.

In southern Sweden the number of reported drug crimes has increased by 350 during the same period. A more marginal rise has taken place in Stockholm.
