The numbers of road accidents involving wildlife has increased in recent years with a historic high 61,300 last year. There has been 40,000 such accidents in 2018.
"The number of accidents are always too high," Heléne Lilja from the motorists organisation, Motormännen, tells Radio Sweden.
The risk for drivers is greatest in the counties of Kalmar and Kronoberg in the heavily forested province of Småland.
