2:50 min

The trial of six men facing terrorism charges began on Monday in Stockholm where prosecutors say the group knowingly sent money to the Islamic State.

All six are charged with sending funds abroad to the Islamic State terrorist group. Three of them are also charged with preparing an extremist attack in Sweden.

Prosecutors claim the three men bought and stored large quantities of chemicals and other equipment in order to eventually carry out an attack. Those three men were arrested on April 30, in both Strömsund, in Jämtland county, and Akalla, in Stockholm county.

All six have denied any wrongdoing and the trial is expected to wrap up on February 11th.
