Research project to help students recognize bias or false info in English

4:00 min

A three-year project aims to develop better tools for both teachers and students to help them recognize and deal with false or slanted information in English.

Swedish students absolutely must learn to do this in English, because if they're going to get their information from online sources, 56 percent of the Internet is in English, and only 0.6 percent is in Swedish,"

The project, funded by the Swedish Institute for Educational Research, will initially work with some schools in northern Sweden.
