Löfven, Kristersson say little on talks ahead of PM candidate announcement

3:44 min

This morning, the speaker of Parliament met with Stefan Löfven and Ulf Kristersson, the leaders of the two biggest parties again, to find out how their negotiations are going as they vie to be selected as Sweden's next Prime Ministerial candidate.

This is part of a long process to determine who will run Sweden's next government, after a very close national election all the way back in September.

Both of the leaders said that discussions were ongoing and neither wanted to speculate on their chances of becoming Sweden's next Prime Minister, as you can hear in this report.
