Dock dispute brings harbours to a standstill

A strike by workers and lockout by employers in Sweden's most important ports is affecting the flow of goods in and out of the country.

The harbour owners and the dock workers' union failed to come to an agreement yesterday, over whether workers would be represented by their own dockers' organisation, or by the national transport federation.
