Sweden, and six other EU nations, say they will back and support Juan Guaidó as Venezeula's interim president.

Foreign Minister Margot Wallström told Swedish Radio's morning news that Sweden cannot accept the outcome of Venezeula's presidential election last year.

Wallström said, "It was not a free or fair election that brought Maduro to Power. Venezeula must have a free and fair election."

The seven EU nations gave Maduro an ultimatum to call new elections by Sunday, which he rejected.
