"Singing can make a difference" Swedish Choirs ready to "Sing for the Climate"

3:27 min

It is not only schoolchildren and young adults who will be taking part in Friday's "Global Climate Strike for Future" demonstrations, inspired by Sweden's Greta Thunberg. Radio Sweden hears from one of the many adult Choirs in the country who are preparing to "Sing for the Climate".

The organisers of one Choir that will be singing at a protest outside Sweden's parliament on Friday afternoon, explain how they have carefully chosen four songs reflecting the mood of the day.

"Sing for the Climate" is part of Greta Thunberg's school strike for climate, which began last August, and has grown into a global youth movement.
