Swedish MEP: Brexit uncertainty overshadows work in EU Parliament

As the UK's prime minister Theresa May prepares to bring a third Brexit deal vote to the House of Commons, members of the European Parliament are trying to assess what the different outcomes could mean for their work.

This week, the European Parliament has been voting through a range of emergency legislation to try to soften the blow if Britain ends up leaving the Union without an agreement.

Jytte Guteland, Swedish MEP for the Social Democrats tells Radio Sweden  that whichever route Britain chooses, it will have a profound impact on the work in the European parliament.
