Sweden's education agency asks Facebook to help stop spread of leaked national tests

The National Agency for Education has got in touch with Facebook, in the hope that they can help stop the spread of leaked national tests.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, the national tests in Swedish for students in year nine were leaked online, giving some students sitting the test a head start.

Similar leaks have happened many times before, and since last autumn, the National Agency for Education has made increased efforts to tighten security routines around them.

But Anders Boman, head of unit for national testing at the National Agency for Education, is hopeful that the contacts with Facebook will also have positive results.

"If a new movie is shown on their platforms, they get rid of it, and the same thing should go for national testing," he told Radio Sweden.
