Swedish officials and native Sri Lankans here condemned a series of bombings that rocked the island nation on Easter Sunday.

More than 300 have been killed and hundreds more wounded in eight coordinated blasts that targeted luxury hotels and churches during Easter services in several coastal cities.

Prime Minister Stefan Löfven called the terrorist attacks "horrifying" adding "our thoughts are with the victims and their close ones."

The president of a Sri Lankan association in Sweden, Trevor Buultjens, told Radio Sweden that they are organizing a memorial service as well as a demostration in central Stockholm this weekend against the terrorist attacks.
