The Center party is one of two Swedish parties in the European Parliament that define themselves as liberal. The party's top EU-candidate Fredrick Federley talked about the difference between them and the Liberal Party, how their climate policies differ from the Green Party and what should happen to the EU budget after the UK leaves.
In the last EU election, Fredrik Federley ran a successful personal campaign, moving past two people ahead of him on the list to represent the Center Party in the European Parliament.
In the past five years, he has worked especially for animal welfare on farms and in transport and for restricting the overuse of antibiotics on farms. But if he has to choose one issue he'll pursue in particular over the next five years, if elected, it's the climate.
This is part six in our interview-series with the top candidates in the European Parliament elections.
