Radio Sweden spoke to legal expert Mark Klamberg about the road ahead in this long-running legal saga.
Klamberg is a professor of international law with Stockholm University, currently undertaking research in Oxford, UK. He says it's British law that decides which extradition request goes first in Assange's case.
Two relevant factors, according to Klamberg, are which extradition request came first, plus the severity of the crimes that he is accused of. And there are different ways courts can interpret this.
