For most Swedes, it's home sweet home this summer

Six out of ten Swedes say they plan on staying within the country for their summer holidays.

The state-held lender SBAB carried out the online survey earlier this month. In it, young people are more likely to travel abroad for the summer holiday but they are also more likely to feel stressed about how they'll pay for their trip.

It's the first time SBAB has carried out such a survey so it's unknown if more Swedes are choosing to stay in Sweden over the summer break or not.

But Radio Sweden spoke to an economist at the bank who says her hunch is that more people are staying put and a big reason for that has to do with weather.
