Sweden won their first match against Chile Tuesday night in the Women's Football World Cup.

The game looked to be heading for a 0-0 draw when thunderstorms interrupted play in the second half.

But, after a 40-minute break, Sweden emerged the stronger team with two goals from Kosovare Asllani and Madelen Janogy. Sweden face Thailand on Sunday, who were beaten by the USA on Tuesday by a record 13-to-0 victory.
