ATMs Hopefully Filled by End of Week

Published tisdag 8 november 2005 kl 12.00

There are hopes that automatic teller machines in Sweden will start to be filled again, following new guidelines from the Swedish Work Environment Authority.

The agency halted armor car deliveries of cash after last week’s violent robbery, which left one guard seriously injured.

Security companies believe deliveries will return to normal levels by the end of the week. In the meantime, Swedes have been encouraged to make more purchases with credit and debit cards, as the cash in ATMs has begun to run out.
