While other sectors brace themselves for a likely economic slowdown, the hospitality industry does not expect to be affected very much.

Today, four out of ten working in hotels and restaurants in Sweden are born abroad, and the job prospects look good also ahead, Jonas Siljhammar, CEO of the employers organisation Visita, tells Radio Sweden.

Visita represents hotels, restaurants and other businesses in the hospitality sector. And while employers in retail or export/import are tearing their hair out over Brexit and possible trade wars, Jonas Siljhammar says the hospitality industry has only seem limited effects of the turbulence.
