EU Minister confronted over "suicidal" Brits in Sweden

2:02 min

Speaking on Friday to Swedish Radio's afternoon news program, Brit David Milstead said the anxiety over Brexit has affected people's families, their careers and their health - causing some to even have suicidal thoughts.

Last month, Sweden's government warned the chance of a no-deal Brexit was growing. And the political furor in Britain last week hasn't seem to lessen those fears here.

But speaking on the same radio program Sweden's EU Minister Hans Dahlgren stopped short of making any guarantees that people from the UK can continue living in Sweden if there is a no-deal departure on October 31.
