Sweden’s Trade Minister Ann Linde will replace Margot Wallström as foreign minister once she steps down after 5 years at the post.

Succeeding Linde as trade minister is Anna Hallberg. She'll also be responsible for issues concerning the Nordic region.

Other changes include naming Eva Nordmark as the new employment minister. She replaces Ylva Johansson who will become the EU Commissioner for Home Affairs. Nordmark comes to the government from the Swedish Confederation of Professional Employees, a union association where she was its chairwoman.

Prime Minister Stefan Löfven announced the new ministers during a speech on Tuesday at the reopening of parliament.
