More people in Sweden say they've been a victim of a crime or crimes last year, according to a new report by the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention.

About 26 percent of the population say they have been victims of crime in 2018. That's up slightly from the year before where about 24 percent said they were affected.

This year's report also reveals how Swedes perceived their feeling of insecurity. It also shows large differences between the sexes and the types of crimes committed against them.
