Sweden Funds Internet World’s Fair

The Swedish government is contributing around 2 million dollars to the first ever Internet World’s Fair.

The virtual world exhibition is the result of a Swedish initiative, and the Swedish Foreign Ministry says this country will have a prominent role in the project organization.

Organizers hope the Internet World Expo will have virtual pavilions from more than 100 countries, describing it as an encyclopedia of cultures, traditions, and music, along with games, e-learning, and opportunities for dialog and chat.

Hopefully more than 40 million people will visit the site daily.
