According to a new survey from the National Post and Telecom Agency, eight out of ten Swedes use the Internet, almost six out of ten every day. Nearly half of all households here have broadband.
But, only 56 percent are satisfied with their Internet service provider. Many have switched providers, usually to get a lower price, or because they are upgrading to broadband.
The study also indicates that nine out of ten Swedes have mobile phones, unchanged from previous surveys, with 4 percent having completely given up their landlines. Thirteen percent use the Internet for their telephone calls.
Just under half of Swedish households have digital television in some form. Forty-two percent via satellite, around one-third terrestrial digital TV, and 29 percent cable.
