Forsberg, who’s expected to lead the Swedish team in Turin next month , was playing in only his second game after missing a pair with a groin strain.
The 32-year-old Swede, who missed the last Olympics through injury, was also sidelined for six contests between November and December with a similar injury.
”I felt it right away,” Forsberg said. ”Its not like last time when it was coming on and on throughout the game, this time it was kind of like a more sharp pain right off the bat.
”I dont think I came back too early,” he added. ”I played a game and it was fine. In three or four practices there was no problem. I felt good for a couple of days. The last time here we rested for a long time and I thought it was perfect. I skated for three days and it was fine and there was no problem, so its hard right now. ”
