Seven Hours Outside the 20th Floor

Two window-washers were trapped for seven hours Sunday on the outside of Sweden’s tallest building, the Turning Torso in Malmö.

The external lift which they were using stalled when they were on the 20th floor, at least 50 meters above ground level. After seven hours in the winter cold, the two were able to break through a ventilation window into an apartment.

According to reports they were uninjured, but very cold.
