Another Tsunami Victim Identified

Thirteen months after the Asian tsunami disaster, another Swedish victim has been identified in Thailand.

A Swedish police journal says a Swedish child has been identified by forensic experts in Bangkok through DNA matching. Sixteen Swedes remain missing after the disaster, 11 of them children. The bodies of 527 Swedes have been recovered and identified.

Tens of thousands of Swedes were vacationing in the region at the time. More than 220,000 lives were lost in the tsunami.
